My old, trusty Windows 7 machine became so unreliable that I could no longer keep it going on life-support. It was time for an upgrade, so I went window shopping on Amazon and Best Buy, and narrowed my choice down to the computer I bought on Amazon (2-day shipping, easy return policy, and enough reviews that it was a no-brainer) Set-up was easy enough, and it was a joy once more to do my photo editing on a machine with the horsepower to minimize waiting while Photoshop and Filter Forge crunched the numbers. After having it for a month, I'm satisfied even more with HP's efforts. Speed and power at an affordable price--you just can't beat it!

2.0 out of 5 stars The jury is still out on this computer., November 9, 2017

I bought this computer about 6 weeks ago. I'm still having some software compatibility issues. And, there is an loud annoying humming / buzzing that that's coming from the top front of the tower. I don't believe it's a hardware issue. Seems more like a fit and finish problem or something is not tightened properly. If I press down on the spot where the front and top come together it will stop. But happens several time a day. Maybe I just need to use a bigger hammer.
My last HP lasted 10 years with no issues. Maybe they "just don't make-em like they use to".

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't make the same mistake I did!!, November 12, 2017

I have several HP products and this one HP blew it. The keyboard is small almost like a toy you would give a child. The computer is only expandable to 16 GB being its limit on memory and while you could mount a second drive or solid state deceive there aren't any port on the mother board to plug it into and only 2 expansion slots to add a controller but they are half height and each one has limitations. I would never buy this product again or recommend it unless you just want a plug and play computer but in this one your getting less than what you're paying for. The seller doesn't tell you the limits on the computer and neither did HP, This is the first product I have ever given less than 3 stars and I definitely would never buy from this seller again.
